I'm from Cleveland where they have slymans. It's not as big, but the taste is awesome. The people are friendly and service is fast. I only wish I could order it like I do in Cleveland. Lean smerf with mustard. You tend to get it a little fatty but it's still good.
First time eating at this location. I was shopping Nextdoor and decided to order a Pastrami Sandwich and Matzoh ball soup. I was very pleased with the service and the taste of the food. I would recommend. I order a Pastrami sandwich, soup and the order came with a side pickle and coleslaw for about $20.00 .
I love to support small businesses. This is like a hole in the wall NYC deli. Don't expect any fanfare, it's barebones, no nonsense. We had hot dogs and a sub. Both were outstanding! It's fresh and delicious. I'm a fan of the pickles They know ppl by name and orders if you frequent enough - a neighborhood joint.
Little NY Deli in the burbs. Gotta love it. It was busy. I'm glad I looked at the menus ahead of time. I still was awestruck and went basic. Got a plain bagel with scallion schmear and Turkey Provo on white. Bagel was phenom; bouncy, chewy, moist, and delicious. The sando pulled high with meat. No dinky sammich here. It needed more sauce cause the meat was meating. It's no frills, but the purity of food beats the presentation.
Hours are limited so pay attention. Ingredients are extremely fresh and delicious. It's not Kosher - I wish they would just not serve Pork and/or Shellfish period - Who the heck needs that junk. Anyways, disappointed that they don't serve Hard Salami. Nevertheless, Pastrami was tasty and juice and served on delicious fresh seedless rye bread all the way from Rockland Bakery. Pickles were garlicky and delicious. Service was quick and friendly - they made it their business to get to know me. Friendly crowd that seemed to be amused by my banter with the Owner, Lee - who is truly a "Mensch" - Will definitely be returning. Really enjoyed my visit! Full selection of Dr. Brown's Sodas - Greatly enjoyed my visit! Thank You Lee!
Excellent pastrami reuben at an old school deli. Place was clean and their potato pancakes were next level awesome.
Wouldn't you know it.I got my pastrami fix in North Carolina. After haggling with my buddy on a place for lunch we agreed that a deli would be a good selection. To prove to me that it's legit. Dr. Browns cream soda must be sold along with the obligatory knishes and latkes. We ate quick and enjoy our conversation pastrami was cut thin, serves on Rye with spicy mustard. So glad they didn't give me a half sour pickle because I absolutely detest those things. And YES IVE BEEN TO KATZ's in NYC. I'd come back if needed! Lol
